CEO Buzz: Today, we’re seeing significant shifts in global background screening in companies worldwide. Please tell us about the shifts in the recruitment process of background verification.
Amit Singh: We have seen the vital transformation of where and how we work. The latest technology has enabled remote working and being productive regardless of location and geography. Job interviews are being conducted remotely using communications technology platforms. This makes it easier for the candidate to interact with the recruiter.
Many companies across verticals have resorted to digital onboarding and the percentage is only growing due to the ease and simplicity of the process. Digital onboarding is efficient as it doesn’t involve physical paperwork, or travel time and can eliminate the need for the physical presence of the new hire.
CEO Buzz: What is the most crucial part of screening?
Amit Singh: Human Resources and Talent Acquisition leaders have taken a proactive look at the technology and strategies to choose the right candidate for the organization.
With digitization, RPA and big data technologies, companies have the ability to connect, deep dive into the potential of data using these resources to screen the background of a candidate including criminal records.
Our operations and processes provide timely solutions which help our customers make hiring decisions and proceed with candidate onboarding.
CEO Buzz: What are the various tools which help in speeding up the candidate screening process?
Digital Onboarding: This service allows for efficient online onboarding of the candidate, reduces the need of physical paperwork as well as the candidate’s physical presence.
Digital Address: Using the digital methodology, thus enabling a fast, reliable validation. An automated solution that uses advanced GPS technology to match the geographic coordinates of the address provided by the candidate.
E-Court: This automated solution provides digital court information for criminal background checks.
Employment validation via UAN: For this process, we use the UAN of a candidate’s association with a prior employer and the dates of enrollment using the EPFO portal for records.
CEO Buzz: What are the trends that will continue into 2022?
Amit Singh: With integrated technology in our day-to-day operations, our digital work environment is designed to help our clients by improving quality and efficiency. Our focus is on increasing positive applicant onboarding experiences, reducing delivery cycle times, and boosting quality performance.

Amit Singh: COVID-19 changed the way the world does business, but it has not changed the need for a trusted background screening partner.
